Advanced Medical Strategies Makes Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest-Growing Companies
LYNNFIELD, Mass — August 21, 2017— Advanced Medical Strategies (AMS), an industry leader in delivering technology-driven solutions for payment integrity, risk management, and high dollar claims issues, is proud to announce that it has been officially recognized by Inc. as one of America’s fasting growing private companies.
The annual Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth over a three-year period. In the span of a few short years AMS’ revenue has increased 115 percent, placing it within the top 3000 firms appearing on the illustrious list. Within the same timeframe AMS has added—among other upgrades to existing analytics—AMS Cost Projection (ACP), AMS Risk Threshold (ART), PBM data points, Drug Price Trends, NDC information, Bundled Pricing Module (BPM), and a Mental Health subdirectory to their Predict Suite of services.
Stacy Borans, AMS founder and CMO: “AMS has quickly evolved from a small business start-up doing medical reviews to a cutting-edge predictive analytical software and decision support services company. Incomparable service, vision, innovation, and, most of all, hard work are the keys to whatever success we may have. While I’m grateful that AMS has achieved such a prestigious distinction as being named to the Inc. 5000 list, it is really just a stepping stone towards even greater things. We’re pleased—but not satisfied.”
It is no accident that AMS has grown into a technology-driven corporation. An exemplary leadership and consummate support team was never content to keep the status quo. In 2013, AMS addressed the demand for a database of accurate medical diagnoses on standards of care treatment protocols to evaluate and predict costs by introducing PredictDx, the first part of its Predict Suite of software solutions. A year later, realizing the industry’s need for accurate Specialty Drug pricing, AMS created PredictRx to evaluate cost data, FDA-approved and off-label usages, and dosing regimens, along with offering critical physician commentary. Not content to rest on its laurels, a short time later AMS launched ImplantDx, the only online, fully transparent medical-surgical implant and device cost directory in the industry. The response to the PredictDx, PredictRx, and ImplantDx modules has been nothing short of outstanding.
“Businesses on the Inc. 5000 list,” says Peter Borans, president of AMS, “are often referred to as the ‘superheroes of the U.S. economy.’ So being named as an honoree is high praise, indeed. We didn’t get to this point merely by ‘making money.’ Selling data isn’t enough. We provide intelligence. Intelligence in the form of data, yes, but also clinical expertise, transparent cost information, payer politics and relationship dynamics. Only a company with the level of depth and experience of AMS can provide such a holistic outlook for those we serve in the healthcare payer chain. The results are reflected in our debut appearance on the Inc. 5000 list.”
